6 July 2021, Vientiane Capital, Lao PDR: LRF celebrates long term partnership with Vientiane College
As the LRF continues its work to provide opportunities for all youth to grow through the sport of rugby, we would like to acknowledge the support provided to us by Vientiane College.
Established in 1994, Vientiane College is an Australian-owned training institution widely regarded as one of the premier English Language schools in the Lao PDR. The management team, with an average of over 25 years’ service, typifies the consistency and commitment of the College staff; a cosmopolitan body of 42 teachers, representing a dozen different nations, and more than 80 local administrative staff and classroom assistants.
Vientiane College is also highly regarded as an active member of the community who generously gives back through a range of activities. Primarily targeting youth, and in particular disadvantaged youth, the College offers subsidized training and scholarships, and also works with local schools to provide teacher training, to contribute teachers, resources and curriculum development assistance.
Vientiane College has also been one of the Lao Rugby Federation’s oldest supporters. Over the past 10 years of partnership, Vientiane College has supported LRF’s work through providing training facilities, event sponsorship, scholarships and support for international volunteer placements.
Vientiane College’s support is a crucial component of LRF’s work to achieve Rugby for All in Laos. We would like to thank Vientiane College’s unwavering commitment to the LRF vision and wish to continue this partnership long into the future.
