Aeng Khang’s work as a ChildFund Pass It Back Coach and LRF staff member has led her to support 700 youth players - more than half of them girls - to participate in the rugby and life skills curriculum.

The Lao Rugby Federation (LRF) is pleased to announce Mike Hampton as the player sponsor of Aeng Khang.
Aeng is a ChildFund Pass It Back Coach and LRF staff member supporting over 700 youth players, more than half girls, to participate in the rugby and life skills curriculum. She is a role model for the dozens of female teams playing across Xieng Khouang province. Aeng is also played for the DAC Lao Women’s National Team and DAC Lao Nagas during the 2019 Kowloon RugbyFest, where she and her team earned the title of Cup Runners-Up.
Hampton’s support comes as part of the LRF’s Player Sponsorship Initiative, which grants businesses and individuals the opportunity to sponsor players and staff as they represent Laos at elite international competitions. Since its inception in 2010, the Player Sponsorship Initiative has made it possible for the Men’s and Women’s Lao National Teams to travel and compete at the international level.
