The Lao Rugby Federation (LRF) is pleased to announce Rita Vannithone as the player sponsor of Thitouthone "Lay" Thilakoun.
Lay, a crucial member of the local Vientiane Wild Hogs, represented Laos as part of the DAC Lao National Team in the 2019 and the 2018 Asia Rugby 7s Trophy tournaments held in Indonesia and Singapore respectively. This past season Lay traveled to Hong Kong with the DAC Lao Nagas to compete at Kowloon RugbyFest.
Ms. Vannithone’s support comes as part of the LRF’s Player Sponsorship Initiative, which grants businesses and individuals the opportunity to sponsor players and staff as they represent Laos at elite international competitions. Since its inception in 2010, the Player Sponsorship Initiative has made it possible for the Men’s and Women’s Lao National Teams to travel and compete at the international level.
